1982 Donruss Baseball Pack

1982 Donruss is a 660 card set containing 653 numbered cards and seven unnumbered checklists. The first 26 cards of this set mark the debut of the Diamond Kings (DK) and feature the artwork of Dick Perez of Perez-Steele Galleries. The card stock in this year's Donruss cards is considerably thicker than the 1981 cards and there aren't nearly as many error cards as in '81. Notable Rookie Cards in this set include Cal Ripken, Jr., Dave Righetti, Lee Smith, and Terry Francona. In addition, '82 Donruss features the first trading card of the San Diego Chicken. Each '82 Donruss pack contains three pieces of a 63-piece puzzle, which, when put together, make a collage of Babe Ruth entitled "Hall of Fame Diamond King."
