1993 Fleer was a 720-card set that was ordered alphabetically by player within each team, for each League, with the National League preceding American League. For the first time, the set was separated into two 360-card series: Series One was released in February, 1993 and Series Two was released in June, 1993. Series Two was featured players from the two 1993 expansion teams -- the Colorado Rockies and Florida Marlins. There were three subsets and Checklist cards (358-360/718-720):
- League Leaders (344-348/704-708)
- Record Setters (349-353/709-713)
- Super Star Specials (354-357/714-717)
1993 marked the first time Fleer utilized ultra-violet (UV) coating on insert cards in its flagship set.
