1993 Topps is an 825-card set consisting of two series of 396 and 429 cards. This was the largest Topps Baseball set ever, and for the first time in 20 years, was issued in multiple series.
A Topps Gold card was inserted in every 15-card pack. In addition, hobby and retail factory sets were produced, and special factory sets commemorating the inaugural seasons of the Florida Marlins and Colorado Rockies were issued.
Rookie Cards in this set include Jim Edmonds, Derek Jeter and Jason Kendall.
