The 1995-96 Fleer Metal set was issued in one series totaling 200 cards. The hand-engraved etched cards each featured a colorful action photo with the player cutting through a unique metallic foil background. The cards were grouped alphabetically within teams. The Joe Sakic SkyMint Exchange card was randomly inserted 1:360 packs. When exchanged collectors received a unique card with a dime-sized coin featuring the Avalanche star embedded in the corner. The exchange offer expired January 1, 1997.
