2003 Victory is a 200-card set released, exclusive to retail, in February 2003. After four years as a large but no-frills, insert-less product, Upper Deck dramatically changed Victory into a multi-fractured, multi-paralleled, set with a collectible card game element. The first 100 cards comprise the short set while the last 100 cards were all short printed to various quantities.
2003 Victory did contain the first-ever MLB licensed "True" rookie card of Hideki Matsui.
