1990 O-Pee-Chee Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) Pack

The 1990 O-Pee-Chee (OPC) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie trading card packs are highly sought-after vintage collectibles distributed exclusively in Canada. Manufactured by O-Pee-Chee using the same base design layout as the American Topps release, these cards showcase live-action imagery from the classic 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.

Pack Configuration & Contents

Card Count: Each factory-sealed wax pack contains 6 Movie Photo Cards.
Insert Item: Each pack includes 1 Special Card (numbered 1 through 11).
The OPC Difference: Unlike the US Topps version, which included standard adhesive stickers, the Canadian O-Pee-Chee variant converted those same 11 layouts into firm, non-peelable "Special Cards".

Set Breakdown & Design

The entire master set consists of 132 base cards capturing key movie scenes, character profiles (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, Splinter, April O'Neil, Casey Jones, and The Shredder), and behind-the-scenes production stills featuring Jim Henson's Creature Shop and creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.

Front Design: Features a distinct movie-themed frame incorporating a vintage camera icon to house the card number and a film strip design holding the caption.
Back Design: Highlights a bright purple and green color scheme. The left side features a graphic of Donatello alongside the movie logo, while the right side displays a purple text box with a detailed narrative description or dialogue from the movie scene.
