2002 Buffy the Vampire Slayer Evolution Pack

Released by Inkworks in July 2002, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Evolution trading card series is an ultra-premium collection featuring a complete, limited-edition 50-card all-chromium base set. This highly collectible retrospective set tracks the transformation of the main characters and key relationships across the show's early seasons.

Premium Chase Subsets

Beyond the 50 chrome base cards, the Evolution set included premium, non-chrome bonus subsets hidden randomly inside hobby packs:

"Final Destination" Foil Puzzle (9 Cards, 1:11 packs): A standard foil card insert set that pieces together to form a larger mural image.
"Grave Matters" Die-Cut Cards (6 Cards, 1:17 packs): Specialized die-cut insert cards highlighting the show's dark themes.
Autograph Cards (1:24 packs): High-value inserts hand-signed by the cast, including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan, and James Marsters.
Pieceworks Cards (1:24 packs): Memorabilia cards embedded with genuine, production-worn costume pieces from characters like Buffy, Willow, and Spike.
