1981 Topps Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark Pack

The 1981 Topps Raiders of the Lost Ark Wax Pack is the historic first trading card release dedicated to the iconic whip-wielding archaeologist, Indiana Jones. Originally retailing for just 25 cents, these classic vintage packs have become a highly sought-after non-sport collectible.

Pack Configuration

10 Movie Photo Cards summarizing the main plot points and characters.
1 Sticker per pack (included in specific variants or booster layouts).
1 Stick of Bubble Gum (flat, square, and highly brittle today—do not eat it!).

Set Design & Highlights

The Base Set: Features 88 total base cards detailing Indy's pursuit of the golden idol and the Ark of the Covenant.
Visual Identifiers: Instantly recognizable by their bright green outer borders. The inner borders are uniquely patterned with snakes—a subtle nod to Indy’s ultimate phobia.
Card Backs: Feature a detailed story write-up framed inside an illustration of the Ark of the Covenant.
Key Cards: The highly valued #1 Title Card and #2 Indiana Jones (Freelance Adventurer) are the premier chase pieces for graded card collectors.
